We are thrilled to welcome you and our students to the 2021-2022 school year. Given the difficulties we have all faced over the last two years, this in-person school year comes with special meaning. We are excited about the incredible growth the school has seen and the many success stories across our elementary and middle schools. As challenging as COVID has been, it has also presented us with opportunities to create “new normals” and even greater opportunities for our amazing school community.
After missing a year due to COVID, we are launching FSK’s 4th Annual Giving Campaign and would greatly appreciate your family’s support. One thing we all learned during COVID was the importance of outdoor space to our children’s ability to grow and learn safely. This year’s Campaign seeks to build on that lesson by raising money to enhance the school’s outdoor spaces. Donations will be used toward the following outdoor-geared activities and spaces:
- Construction and Installation of New Playground
- Installation of Outdoor Amenities for Middle Schoolers
- Support for field trips, programming and in-school
FSK is a thriving, successful school in large part because we are supported by great families and committed partners. Our school is the anchor of our community — a community that spreads across the peninsula and through our City. We know that, in addition to enhancing the daily lives of our students, great outdoor space at our school is a tangible community benefit that our neighbors can see and appreciate.
FSK’s PTO is a 501(c)3 non-profit and your gift will be tax-deductible. We are able to accept donations through cash, check, credit card, Paypal, and Venmo*. Donations of $250 or more will receive a letter of acknowledgment for tax purposes. Individuals should consult with their tax advisors for specific information.
Gifts of any amount are sincerely appreciated. When you make a direct cash or check donation, 100% of your money will go toward helping us attain our educational goals as “one school community.”
