Francis Scott Key Elementary/Middle is an official Gifted and Advanced Learning Site! We are honored to have been awarded the EGATE certification during the 17-18 school year.

Every year we utilize normed assessment data to identify students as Gifted and Advanced Learners.  Each student that is coded as GAL will have an Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) created to help guide the learning for individualized students.  In addition to creating an ILP for GAL students, our teaching staff ensures that instruction is differentiated to meet the needs of all students.
